The Button-Up Pinafore: Featured Work Wear Outfit for Week of July 27-31

For the last week of July I’m featuring a sundress that would be appropriate for days when you want to comfortable yet business chic or for casual Fridays in the office. If I was still reporting to my office, I would wear this dress on a Thursday when my office has what’s called “Jeans Days.” On these days we pay $1 to wear jeans and as a result people tend to dress casual on Thursdays. I would also wear it on a Friday given its casual yet dressy look.

The button-up pinafore dress has taken the fashion world by storm and it’s not hard to see why given their versatility. I pair my pinafore with beige and brown accessories to bring out the colors in the buttons. The snakeskin print gladiator sandals give the outfit a print pop since the dress is simple. The wick handbag adds the finishing touch to this summer inspired look.
