Featured Weekly Work Wear Outfit: Style and Sophistication
Happiness is sunshine, warm weather, blue skies, and a chic pink and white summer outfit! This week’s outfit inspiration comes from my favorite season, which is summer. Since it’s August and unfortunately time is starting to wind down for wearing white bottoms, I decided I would wear my white pencil skirt while it’s seasonably appropriate to do so. I paired it with one of my favorite colors, pink to complete this softer hue ensemble inspired by summer pastels.
The outfit is appropriate for both work and play and contains pieces that could easily be styled with a myriad of other wardrobe pieces. While the top is an off-the-shoulder top it can also be worn on the shoulders. In addition to the skirt, it could also be paired with slacks or for another summer look, a pair of white jeans or a white jean skirt. The skirt is a versatile summer office piece that brings brightness to any top or blouse with which it is paired. The accessories complete the look and enhance the pink shade of the top.
