Fall Foliage Inspired Dress
Typically I like to wear colors that are seasonably appropriate and with it being fall I decided to style a dress in fall colors. Darker colors are usually associated with the fall, however I chose to style a color that doesn’t get much love this time of year but is seen quite often in fall foliage, yellow. I don’t have a whole lot of yellow in my wardrobe and it’s a shame because it’s such as bright and uplifting color. It also contrasts well with other fall hues and adds a pop of color in nature, much like it does to this outfit.
The dress itself is eye catching and immediately when I saw it I thought it would make a great addition to my fall wardrobe. It’s light enough for milder weather while its sleeve and hem length make it perfect for the cooler night and mornings of the fall. The bell sleeves also add a stylish flare to the dress, while the black belt nicely contrasts the bright colors in the dress. I bring out the belt with black shoes and and black and gold handbag. The gold jewelry adds nice and bright finishing touch’s to the fall inspired outfit.
The overall look does a great job of embracing an often underrated fall color, while also balancing it out with a darker neutral.
